Free Explore test recipients

The Free Explore plan allows you to sign up for Veluril for free, no card needed. You have complete access to all features and functionality, you can integrate your Square account, upload content, create bundles, and so on.

During the Free Explore phase, you can send as many test deliveries as you like but only to three test recipients. In our experience, this is enough for you, your business partner, your developer, etc. to be able to register their email address and receive test deliveries.

There is no difference in functionality between a Free Explore plan and a Launched account.

How to authorize email addresses

Let's take a look at how you authorize the three test email addresses.

The first email address

When you sign up, your login email address takes the first of the three available test email addresses. That way, you can immediately upload content, create a bundle, and deliver it. All within seconds.

Your login address is preauthorized. For many, this is enough and they don't need to authorize any other test email addresses.

And after they Launch their Library, all restrictions are removed and they can then send deliveries to anyone, anywhere.

The remaining two addresses

If you find that you need more than your login email address to help test Veluril, you have two more that you can set up.

Head to the Test recipients settings page. Click one of the 'Add' buttons and enter your second (or third) test email address and click 'Save':

A confirmation modal shows the email address and reminds you they will be emailed to confirm the address and that they are able to receive test deliveries (so make sure you have access to the email or you let your business partner/designer, etc. know they will be getting a confirmation email):

Veluril sends an email asking if it's OK to use it for test deliveries:

Clicking the "Answer this request" button takes them to a page where they can confirm or refuse to be a test recipient. The "No, not at this time" allows them to decline, especially useful if you made a mistake in the address.

If they decline, the slot shows Declined next to the address, and you can change it straight away to correct a typo or try a different address.

Change once every 24 hours

You can change the second and third test email address once every 24 hours. The settings page shows how long before you can change it.

This helps prevent abuse of the Free Explore account. The reason it's free and does not need a card is for you to be able to experience the full functionality of Veluril and not send to real recipients:

Once your account is ready, simply Launch your Library and the recipient restriction is lifted and you can send your content to anyone, anywhere.
