Cover images in the Stripe app

This article is for the Veluril Stripe App only. If you are using Veluril anywhere else, please use the main help articles: help.veluril.com

Every file you upload has a cover image that shows your recipients what it is. Veluril automatically creates cover images for most file types for you, and you can choose a different one, upload your own, or even disable the cover image if you prefer.

Let’s look at how you can view, change, or upload your own cover image.

From the app’s full page

Click the "Open full page" button at the top of the Veluril app, then the Content tab. You can see a thumbnail of the cover image on each row, which helps identify the file. Click the "Cover image" button beside the file. Veluril opens in a new tab where you can configure it (see below):

From a product’s page

Open the product in your Stripe Dashboard, then click the Veluril icon. As on the Content tab, you’ll see a thumbnail of the cover image for each file attached to the product. Click the '•••' button beside a file, then Cover image:

Configure the cover image

Veluril automatically generates up to 3 cover images from your uploaded file. How many depends on the type of file you uploaded, its size, and so on. Sometimes we can’t create a cover image, but you can still upload your own.

You can select one of the covers Veluril made, or click "Upload your own" to provide your own image. We recommend a square image, at least 640px × 640px. If you select "No cover", a plain icon is used instead of an image:

The product cover image

The product also gets a cover image, which is shown in the delivery email and on the download page. This cover image is taken from the first file you attach to the product.
