Attaching content to Stripe products

This article is for the Veluril Stripe App only. If you are using Veluril anywhere else, please use the main help articles: help.veluril.com

Attach content from your Veluril library to a Stripe product, and every new sale of that product delivers it. You do it from the product’s page.

Open the product

Open the product in your Stripe Dashboard, then click the Veluril icon. Click the "Attach files" button:

A product’s page in Stripe with the Veluril app open beside it, showing no files attached, with the Attach files button highlighted

Choose the files

Click the '+' button beside each file you want. To find a file in a long list, search your library or choose a Type:

Attach files to Attacking Chess, the files in your library listed with a + button beside each, the one beside Opening Traps highlighted

Only files ready to deliver are listed, so a file you haven’t named yet won’t appear. Looking for one you recycled? Click the "View Recycling" button below the list to restore it.

The files you select are moved to the "On this product" section. Click the '−' button to remove one. Then click the "Attach files" button at the bottom of the drawer:

Opening Traps and Checkmate Patterns chosen, listed under On this product

The files are on the product, in the order your recipients see them, and every new sale of the product delivers them:

The product in the Veluril app, Ready to deliver, its two files highlighted in the order your recipient sees them

The same file can be attached to as many products as you like.

If the product has already sold

The people who already have the product get the new files too. Choose whether to email them about it, and click the "Attach files" button again:

The question whether to email the recipient who already has the product, with Yes, let them know chosen

Changing the order, or removing a file

Click the '•••' button beside a file to move it up or down the order, or to remove it from the product:

A file’s menu open in the Veluril app, with Move up, Move down, Cover image and Remove

A removed file stays in your library: it’s just removed from being delivered with that Stripe product. If the product has already sold, the people who purchased it stop seeing the file, and you choose whether to email them about it. Copies they downloaded stay theirs.

Removing a product’s last file means a sale of it delivers nothing. To keep it delivering, attach another file first.
