Onboarding in the Stripe app

This article is for the Veluril Stripe App only. If you are using Veluril anywhere else, please use the main help articles: help.veluril.com

The onboarding takes you through Veluril’s three core steps once, start to finish: upload your content, attach it to a product, then purchase that product. At the end, the delivery email is in your inbox, so you see exactly what your recipients get with every sale.

It opens straight after you install the app and connect your Veluril library. See Installing the Veluril Stripe app.

Upload your content

Click the "Upload content" button. Veluril opens in a new tab:

Click to choose your files, or drag them in. You can upload up to 10 at once:

Each file is checked, then added to your Veluril library. When they are all in, click the "Close this tab" button and you are back in Stripe:

Now give your content the name your recipients will see, and click the "Save name" button:

If your image has location data, the onboarding asks whether to keep or remove it before you go on. See Why Veluril checks location safety in your photos.

Attach to a product

Choose one of your Stripe products from the "Product" list:

Tick the content to attach, and click the "Attach 1 file" button. From then on, every new sale of that product delivers this content:

Attach to a product with Chess Openings for Beginners chosen and Chess Openings ticked, with the Attach 1 file button highlighted

If you don’t have a product in Stripe yet, the step links to your products, so you can create one and come back.

Purchase the product

The last step is a sale of the product you just set up, so you experience it exactly as your recipients will. Click the "Purchase the product" button to open its payment page:

Buy with the email address you sign in to Veluril with.

On Free Explore, Veluril delivers only to your three test recipients, and that address is the first of them. The step shows it, so you can copy it. See Free Explore test recipients.

If the product has no payment link yet, the button opens Stripe’s Payment Links page instead, where you create one, then make the purchase.

Complete the purchase, and your delivery email arrives moments later. The "Open your delivery" button opens your private download page:

Chess Corner’s delivery email, You have a delivery, with Chess Openings for Beginners and its cover, and the Open your delivery button highlighted

Onboarding complete

Back in Stripe, every step is ticked:

Onboarding complete, every step ticked, with the Set up your domain and Open app settings buttons highlighted

Click the "Set up your domain" button to send your delivery emails and download pages from your own domain, or the "Open app settings" button to change your test recipients or launch your Veluril library.
