Connecting Square Trigger products
A Trigger product is a Square product whose sale delivers one of your bundles automatically. Link a bundle to it once, and every time someone buys that product on Square, we send them the bundle without you touching anything.
Your Square account needs to be connected first. If it isn’t yet, start with Connecting your Square account.
The Trigger products card
Trigger products are linked from the bundle details page in your Library. Open the bundle from your Bundles page and you’ll find the Trigger products card directly under its content. Click the "Add a Trigger product" button:

Linking is optional.
You can think of linking a bundle to the Trigger product as just another way of delivering the content. You can still deliver it manually, or via the API.
Choosing a Square product
A popup lists every product in your Square catalog, with its variants underneath. You link a variant, so a product that comes in two versions, like our personal and commercial licenses, can deliver the same bundle or two different ones.
Select the variants you want to connect to the bundle, and then click the "Link 2 variants" button:

You can search by product or variant name, and filter the list to Not linked or Linked variants. If a product you’ve just added in Square isn’t listed yet, click "Refresh product list from Square" at the bottom of the popup.
A variant triggers one bundle
A variant can trigger only one bundle. If it already triggers another, the list says so beside it: "currently triggers Coastal Collection".
Nothing moves without you saying so.
If you select a Trigger product that’s already linked to a bundle, you can choose to leave it linked to the other bundle, or you can disconnect it and connect it to this bundle:

Your linked products
Once linked, the card lists each Trigger product. You can add as many as you like:

When someone buys
When someone completes a purchase of a Trigger product in Square, we generate the delivery and within moments we email it to the address on their Square purchase. If one order includes several linked products, your recipient gets one delivery with every bundle in it.
These deliveries appear on your Deliveries page like any other. Open one and you’ll see its Square reference, the Square order number, so you can find the same sale in Square:

If a Square order arrives without an email address, which can happen with an in-person sale, we still create the delivery and keep it in the "Waiting on you" section of your Deliveries page until you add the address.
If the recipient has marked one of your emails as spam, we still create the delivery so you can see the sale, but it’s automatically revoked and nothing is emailed. See When a recipient marks your email as spam.
Unlinking a Trigger product
To stop a Square product delivering a bundle, click "Unlink" beside it on the Trigger products card. We confirm which product you’re unlinking first:

The bundle, its files and every delivery already sent stay exactly as they are, and you can link the product again at any time.
Testing the Trigger
To see it working, once you’ve linked the Trigger product, put an order through on your Square store. If you are on the Free Explore plan, be sure to use one of your test recipients’ email addresses so the delivery is sent without delay. As soon as the purchase completes on your Square store, we’ll generate the delivery and email your test recipient their download links.
